F3D Pylon Racer Siziano 10-11-12/06/2011 NORMS FOR THE RACE: 1) In order to guarantee a greater emergency to the pilots and the mechanics, the pilotage zone will be limited to an area of meters 20x20 to leave from the starting line, the pilot and its mechanic will have to remain to the inside of the delimited area, an assistant of the track director will verify that that happens, every trasgressione will be penalized 2) The cuts at the pylons will be immediately show on a panel near the start watch. 3) At the fees payment will be given to each competitor 2 litres of fuel for test flights and engine tests. The only refuel permitted will be at the call for the race. 4) Changes of positions will be not aloud at the starting line and rotation of positions will be always implemented also for the heats with less than 3 pilots. (this to give to all contestants the same prospective references for the 3 pylons) 5) The only frequencies accepted are the legal one (the only permitted in Italy for Aeromodelling) aloud from the Official Law. 6) The competitors must respect the zone off-limits and cannot stay in what we consider “dangerous zone” and in any case at a distance more that 100 Mts. from the PYLON N. 3. (IN ANY CASE THE OFF-LIMIT ZONE ARE MARKED) 7) Any dangerous behaviour in the “pilot zone” will be not aloud and the pilots at the end of the flight MUST stay high and wait their time to land. Any land, before the end of the race of the other pilots, MUST be done out of the circuit. Any land in the strip when the other pilots are still flying for the race, and in any case without authorisation from the Flag-man, will be penalised (200 points). 8) Pilots and helper must reply immediately for any call of the contest director and go quickly to the starting line. Any delay will be not permitted and will be considered as NULL FLIGHT (200 POINTS). 9) During the race contestants will be call for a model check. Any non-conformity found during the check of the model will be considered as “not accidental” and all flights eventually scored till the check will be put at 200.
